So a few weeks ago I went browsing through Petfinder.com.
There I saw this picture of a mixed Chihuahua puppy named Midge at a rescue site called Cuddly Canines.
And although I had wanted to wait until I moved into my new house before I brought a dog into my life again, I just couldn’t pass her up.
So I filled out the application and when they called back I was able to arrange to visit Midge at her foster home in Placentia.
But while I was there I really fell for the shy little brown runt in the back, named Molly.
I called Beth to tell her that I think I’m going to have to get two of them.
Trust me it was hard not to snatch them all up.
I brought Beth back with me the next day and she felt the exact same way. And last Sunday we brought them home.
We also renamed them. Midge became Smidge. And since Beth always wanted a dog named Pippin or Pip, Molly became Smolly.
Just kidding. We named her Small-e.
Not really.
We named her Pip.
Too Cute!!! Congrats!
SOOO cute!! Congratulations!!
WOW!!! Congratulations, they are sooooooo cute! I’m so happy for you 🙂
Oooohhh– I want them! They are absolutely adorable. Congratulations.
Both are cute dogs, congrats man.
Too cute! I know they will make you both so happy.
Awwwww! They are just too cute! You’ll have to keep us up to date with all their puppy shenanigans!
Oh, they are so very cute! Do they still have puppy breathe? lol Congrats.
OMG – Cuteness Overload!! Congratulations.
SO happy for you all!!
After we unexpectedly had to say goodbye to our kitty we unexpectedly met a particular cat at the SPCA and although it felt like far too soon, we brought her home.
It took a while to let go and love her fully and completely, but we were meant to find her and her us. That’s just how it goes sometimes.
Congrats!
Congratulations on the new additions! They are so precious! Can’t wait to hear all about their escapades!
oh my heck, they are adorable!!! congrats on your new additions. : )
Sounds like you will both literally have your hands full 24 hours a day! I wish you both lots of patience, rest & of course FUN with your new little buddies. God bless!
They are both amazing. I would have taken them both too. I have this wonderful dachshund (actually snoring right beside me as I type this) and I can`t wait to get another one.
Soooooo cute.
That’s so amazingly wonderful!!!! They are so kawaii!! Congrats!
Everybody go =squeeeee= now…
Oh my gosh are they the cutest little things! Congratulations on rescuing these cuties! And their names are adorable. 🙂 I would have done the same…hard to resist more than one…especially when they are that sweet.
Congrats, you have such a kind heart and I’ll bet those two sweet babies will help heal yours from your lose.
You did right!!! May your heart fill with joy each and every day they are with you!!!! HUGS to you all!
Yay! It’s so great that you adopted two! CUTE.
Precious! I love their names. 🙂
Congrats to you all!
Congratulations Jorge and Beth! They look like little sweethearts. I would of found it hard to walk away from those faces too:)
They’re so cute! Congratulations to you and Beth on your new babies.
And bless you for rescuing!
The dog I had was a Chihuaha/miniature pincer mixed. But he was run over by a car (survived and was healed), and then 3 months later had my wife’s mom’s dog attack it and he leapt off a porch and broke his leg and it never was able to heal in the splint. These small dogs are so fragile and jumpity, it can be a real challenge to keep them in good physical health sometimes….
They’re adorable! Congratulations to you and Beth on your new “babies”!! You’ll be happy you got them.
Oh mah gawd, dude. Those little puppersons are the cutest! I just want to nom on their floppy ears. Congratulations on your new babies!
This makes me so happy, Jorge! 😀
I am so happy for you
🙂
They are adorable!! I know they will be loved well!
Aw, congrats Beth and Jorge! Your new babies are adorable!
pipsqueak and smidgeon are so coooooooool and cute. how could you not love them?? I am so glad they found you!! You’re great doggy parents
Congrats on the puppies! They couldn’t ask for a better home. It reminds me after losing our dog how we went looking to adopt another puppy and ended up with two as well. Sometimes the hole left behind in a heart just needs a little more filling!
Welcome, Pip and Smidge!
Aw, I love them already! Congratulations!
OMGoodness Me, what can I say except
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Love them already, so happy for you 4. The puppies
have found a wonderful home and parents.
Pen2
Just saw you at the Screem awards. How did you
get the mic honors? Had to laugh at your Spike
comment. 🙂
AWWWWWW! Jorge, I’m so happy for you and Beth! They’re beautiful little morsels. Congratulations!
Irish
They are so cute! I can see why you couldn’t pass them up!
I saw them on Beth’s FB and just about died of cuteness overdose! Enjoy them!
they are the cutest little things I’ve ever seen!!!
I recently moved 7 hours away from my parents and my cat (who’s like a little sister to me since we grew up together!) had to stay with them. now that I’m finally all settled I’d like to bring her here but my parents said they’d miss her too much, so I’m the one doing the sacrifice by letting her stay with them.
I am not sure if I am ready to have another cat yet, but I went checking kittens the other day and I suddenly connected with one of them, I just hope the landlord will allow me having a pet… wish me good luck!
They’re so cute, and I’m so glad to hear you adopted. No more pet shop dogs!!
Felicidades, seguro que estarán muy bien cuidados 🙂
I am so very, very happy for you! First off, they are ADORABLE!!!!! I am smiling from ear to ear just looking at their pictures..
I adopted a cat from a shelter after the death of my 17 1/2 year old cat. I was so devasted, it was tough.
Hazel (she was Wanda in the shelter)made all the difference.
I am so happy for you and Beth!
🙂
My heart just exploded!! I’m so happy for the puppies. They couldn’t have gotten better parents!
Jorge, they are so cute ! I always loved it when our Chi was that tiny but always worried someone would step on him. So are they both girls ? they are beautiful ! Have fun with them.
They are adorable!
Congratulations !!!!!
Congratulations ! They are so sweet ! I’d like to go through the pics so I can touch them lol. Even, if you they are never going to replace Nunu (I had a cat and I know what it’s like) , I’m sure they will make both of you really happy.
So many good news in one post! You and Beth are feeling recovered enough to open your heart again. Two unwanted dogs get a lovely home. The shelter where you got the pooches from get a lot of publicity, which hopefully means more unwanted dogs find a loving family. Thanks so much for sharing, and for once again putting a smile on my face. All four of you are just adorable 🙂
OMG! Congrats to you all! They are adorable and I know have the bestest ever of homes!
Awww! That is so sweet!! I’m really happy for both of you, and your two new additions – I know how hard it’s been for you both since leaving Hawaii, and losing Nunu. I wish you all the very best!
Congrats, Jorge and Beth, and welcome to the world of two pups! We just joined that club this year, and are amazed at how much more fun two is than one. You can throw out your TV now and just enjoy the Pip and Smidge Show.
so. cute.
Jorge,
They are both cute as a button! I know from personal experience that no pup will ever replace the one that you lost, but they will take a new place in your heart and bring you more joy than you even expected!
Also, THANK YOU for choosing to adopt! We have adopted every single one of our animals (3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 guinea pigs) and are foster parents for our local shelter. Adoption means the world to us, so thank you for choosing to go that route!
Oh, dear. There is way too much cuteness going on in this post. Adorable.
they are so adorable!! congratulations 🙂
So happy to see that you adopted rescue dogs, that is fantastic. I’m also happy to see that you have a dog back in your life. I was heartbroken to hear about your loss. Glad to see those little ones in your life.
Jorge, has hecho bien en adoptar los dos perritos, realmente son adorables. No reemplazaran el lugar que ocupaba Nunu pero estos ya ocupan un sitio en vuestros corazones. Congratulatios!.
Congratulations! They are absolutely adorable. But how will Dom ever forgive you for naming the puppy “Pip” rather than “Merri”?
YAY!!! So very happy for you all!
Welcome Smidge & Pip (fantastic names!!) – and gigantic KUDOS to petfinder.com the rescue place, the foster family and you & Beth! You’re all “Do the right thing” kind of people and sharing stories like this encourages others to do the right thing.
Smidge & Pip are some lucky pups. We look forward to watching them grow up.
BEST!
K
How stinkin’ cute are they! I had a feeling you wouldn’t be puppy-less for long – all due respect to Nunu’s memory, but I think we enjoy having fur kids too much to be without them.
Of course I was hoping you’d go for a greyhound (not that I’m biased or anything, having THE best greyhound on the planet!) but I suppose smaller dogs are easier w/ your schedule. Congrats so very much and I can’t wait for more pictures!
Oh. My. God. They are SO cute. So cute I want to punch myself in the face.
Looking forward to seeing more pictures and learning more about your two new cuties.
Awsome Jorge, both look lovely!
They are absolutely darling! I’m so glad you got both – they’ll have a great time growing up together.
Double the fun!
Congratulations on your new babies! I am so happy for you and Beth. 🙂
I’m so happy for you! 100% happy! Not a smitch of jealous rage! None!
So cute, they look adorable in your arms!
Big smile here after seeing those cuties.
Congrats and best of luck with those two adorable pups! Also kudos for adopting from a rescue organization.
Just great… Smidge reminds me of Uga, mi little one. ¡Espero que vivan grandes momentos todos juntos!
Congrats! I’m so happy for you guys! 🙂
I am smiling so big for you right now!!!
They are so precious! Congrats on your family additions!!!
congrats to the happy parents!
Thank you for saving two lives. Adorable, snuggly lives.
I love to browse on Petfinder, and that’s where our two dogs found us, but I also wish I could save them all.
Best of luck to all four of you.
They make me smile. And I’m very jealous.
Congrats!
I’m very happy for you all!! (I almost named my cat Midge too).
Honestly…. is there ANYTHING cuter?!! You’re email must be blowing up with all our comments! So happy for all of you and can’t wait for more pictures and video! Congratulations!
I’m so happy for all of you! Especially Smidge and Pip! They are going to be happy puppies with such wonderful furparents! Congrats!
They are so cute, and they are going to have a great life with you!
Yay! I am so excited for you guys. They look like lots of fun.
OMG!! So freakin’ adorable!! And to be quite honest I’m not a huge Chihuahua fan but I guess since they are mixed they seem to have an even softer cuter quality about them. Congratulations and best of luck!!
Congratulations to you both! Love the names btw. Great choices! Much love to the four of you!
Welcome Pip and Smidge. How adorable are they!?! I’m so happy for your new additons. I’m laughing and crying at the same time. Enjoy! Let the fun posts begin!
OK, you could be physically hurt by that much cuteness. Or maybe lose a hangnail. LOL They are adorable, Jorge. Enjoy every minute with them.
They are both adorable. At one point we had 21 chihuahuas because I could not bear to sell our puppies. Finally, necessity took over and we now only have four. To know that our sweet puppies might go to someone just like you and Beth who will love them and care for them makes all the difference in the world. Smidge and Pip will become best friends and love you both! Congratulations!
Congrats for rescuing two adorable pups!!! Now your hearts will be
full again.
Congrats on the 2 new additions. They are both so cute.
Congratulations!! Cuddly Canines is an amazing rescue, and they have so many wonderful babies waiting for homes. Your new family members are way too cute.
you both have such big hearts to rescue two puppies! i hope Smidge and Pip bring you much happiness 🙂
They are ADORABLE. Love the color pattern on Smidge. We have two rescue dogs. That is the way to go!
Congrats!
Soooo freakin cute!!! I saw the pix Beth put up and have to admit I just fell instantly in love with that teeny little Pip…she looks like a little chocolate chip. If I had seen her at an adoption event, I’d have scooped her up in a heartbeat…LOL…my little Fudgie (Charlie) would have had a baby sister 🙂 So glad you have some adorable puppies to love, send lots of puppy pix, love, love love em!!!
OMG how cute!! Yeah, how could you have passed them up? Congrats to you guys on your new family members.
I think Nunu would approve. 🙂
BTW, I still miss Lost. 😦
How wonderful! I wish you the best with your new pups, I’m sure they will bring great joy to your lives.
Hey you were in my town! 🙂 Congrats on the new pups, rescues are the BEST. They are too sweet, looking forward to lots of pics and videos.
so cute – and love the names! and love that you rescued 🙂
Jorge they’re very cute!
Oh, look at that tiny, little, so earnest look on Pip’s face! What cuties!
OH OH OHHHHHHHHHHHH MYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! They are the sweetest little puppies!!!! AWwww we had a chichuahua name midge!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sooooooooo happy for you guys!!!!
Congrats on your new babies! They are adorable.
Wow, how cute! I knew you wouldn’t make it till you got a house! It’s always dangerous to go looking for a puppy before you plan to get one! But you know that, don’t you 😉 Congrats – they’re gorgeous.
YAY for rescue dogs!! I volunteer for a senior dog rescue in the Bay Area and I think its great that you went with the rescue route rather than the puppy mill. Enjoy!
unbelievably cute!!!
Congratulations on the expansion of your family! They are so lucky to have found someone like you to be their forever home. And they are ridiculously cute. While they will never replace her, they will help to soften the ache of Nunu’s absence. And your heart can only grow with more love!
I’m so happy for you guys! It’s so hard to move on after losing a pet, but these two look precious, how can you resist? I hope they both have very long and happy lives!
Congrats to you both!! So happy for you. I’m sure Smidge and Pip just won the doggie lottery with the two of you to love them and look after them. Wishing you a long and happy life with them!
Pip and Smidge are magnificent. As I’m sure you know, they won’t replace Nunu in your hearts but they will find their own niches and quickly. What cuties they are!!
woooooooooow, thats so cool!
I was crying when Nunu died and I now I feel happy for you 🙂
I always had dogs so I know how it feels to loose or get one 🙂
Aw, so glad you guys all found each other. 🙂
❤ Awww they are the sweetest little ones. I hope that they will ease your loss and uplift your hearts and lives. It is hard to lose your companions but unexpectedly after sometimes you are given new precious gifts and they make your life so much fuller. 😀
May their lives and yours be blessed beyond measure.
Congratulations Jorge and Beth in your latest little companions.
I am so happy for you.
OMG, Smidge is smiling at you. They’re both beautiful. Please post LOTS of pictures/videos.
Eeeee! OMG, I’m in love. They are absolutely adorable. I did the same thing once, too, but it was a kitten instead of a puppy. I went to the place, and the kitten I had chosen was curled up while another kitten — his sister, turns out — was standing over him with one paw over him protectively. So, I took both of them. 😉 Congratulations!
I’m so happy for you and Beth!!!!
Oh, I am thrilled to see you and Beth brought home these cuddly sweet fur babies. Congratulations!!! I can see why you couldn’t leave with just one little pup. They are both adorable. Hugs,~Moonchime ❤
How exciting! I did the same thing once when I adopted a kitten. I set out to get one specific kitten and came home with two. The second one just kept following me around and she was so little and friendly.
They are so cute. I bet you guys are going to have so much fun together. I am so happy for you all!
Congratulations! They’re both so beautiful. It’s so great that you went to a rescue group – I found our now 13 month old Aussie Shepherd mix on petfinder too. Wishing you, Beth and your babies much love & happiness!
yay! congratulations. and good job getting both. they need each other as much as you need both of them
Oh my gosh! They are sooo cute! I have a toy poodle named Pippin. 🙂
Goddess bless you and Beth, Jorge for rescuing not one but 2 babies..your good un’s..
Yep, ya know “the one” (or 2) when you see it…
PUPPIIEEESSSSS!!!
EEeeee!!! Delightful!
I’m so happy for the 4 of you!
Now I can’t wait til it’s my turn to have that special love back in my life 🙂
Congrats!
Awwwwwwwww. Sometimes the dogs just pick you. They’re both adorable and I’m so happy for you.
We rescued our Aussie also. He’s the sweetest dog I’ve ever had.
What a great story! They are pretty darn cute. I’m sure you will give them a wonderful home. So happy for you – CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Jorge,
I signed up with WordPress just to congratulate you on your new additions! Seriously, both puppies are adorable & I hope they bring you and your girlfriend much happiness 🙂
Congratulations Jorge & Beth!
I had to put my 16 year old cat down earlier this year due to cancer and it was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. A few months ago, I adopted a kitten from a rescue group and while he can never replace my first cat, he has found a new place in my heart and makes me laugh everyday. I like to think of my first cat as the new kitten’s guardian angel
Oh my gosh they’re SOOOOO CUTE. My6 fiance has been begging me forever to get a dog but he wants a lab. I bet if I showed him these pictures, I could get him to agree to a cutesy little chihuahua!
So glad that you’ve found new doggies. And rescued doggies too! Nunu will always be in your heart, but these little guys will make you laugh and remember the good times.
How stinkin’ cute! They are both adorable!
Awww, they are adorable and sooo tiny!
I have a guinea pig called Pip (short for Pippa).
Oh man – your dogs are soooo cah-yoot!
I’ve been following your various blogs for awhile and have enjoyed them verily!
Here’s to a happy home with your new pets
Yay, congratulations!!!
They are so adorable and I’m so happy you rescued them! What cute puppies!!! I really like the names, although Molly is the name of one of my dogs, so I’m partial to that. 🙂
Congratulations on becoming a parent again!
Congratulations! I’m surprised how happy I am for you both… dorky, I know. 🙂
They are adorable and I’m sure will bring you and Beth much joy. As you will bring joy to them! Congrats on the new addition to your family. 🙂
Aww, good for you! They are sweet. 🙂
Hooray for rescuing! You guys are their heroes.
SQUEE!!! How freakin’ adorable are those two?! And, along with the many other, I’m so happy you went with rescues.
OMG !!
I am soooooo excited for you … they are soooooo cute :))))))) !!
happy belated dog-day then, since I am 1 day off …
Congrats, Jorge!!! Your dogs are beautful!!
They are super duper cute! Contratulations!
Congrats to you and Beth on your beautiful fur babies! They are adorable.
I can’t believe you lasted this long. From a fellow dog-obsessive (or Pet-ophile), Congratulations!
Yay Congrats on the two little angel puppies!!!
Congratulations!!
They are so cute !! I really want get from you :p
They are SOOOO cute! After our dog died, we thought we’d wait to get a puppy and four months later we got one…when you’re a dog person the house is not a home without one (or two) Congratulations!
Melt my heart! My rescue poodle, Desi (after my second favorite Lost character), is the sunshine in my life. I know these 2 pups will brighten yours!
Congratulations on your new puppies! They are adorable! Same thing happened to me. My husband went to go pick up one orange kitten, but he came home with two! They wouldn’t be the same without each other.
I feel Happy too 😉
YAY!! That’s so awesome!! Love the names too, especially Smidge!
So, so, so happy for the two of you! and for Smidge and Pip, who are gonna have the best parents two little doggies could ever hope for!
They’re adorable…and just think – all the love and fun you both can handle – times two! 🙂
Congratulations!!
xx
Obviously, it was meant to be. They are absolutely adorable!!!
Awww…so cute.
Congratulations on the new family members! This just brought tears to my eyes! Man, those pups couldn’t ask for a better home!!
I have a labrador named Molly and a bulldog named King. Good luck with your pet’s.
Congratulations on the new additions to your family! They are so adorable!
They are so adorable! And I think Pip is a particularly nice name, having a dog named Pippin myself. 🙂 And having two dogs is wonderful for those times you aren’t home. They will never be lonely. Congratulations!
Ho`omaika`i!!
And congratulations to Smidge and Pip for scoring the most loving home a pup could ever want.
I had a Schnauker named Pippin (for the Broadway show starring Ben Vereen.) Great doggy name too.
Happy puppy nuzzles to you and Beth.
They are absolutely adorable. Thanks for sharing the good news – I am happy for all four of you 😉
I’m so glad you got another–and from a rescue–how great! I know you and Beth will be wonderful parents to them both and they are so lucky to have you.
OMG they are simply adorable! I know they’ll have a fantastic home now.
Is Pippin named after the musical or Lord of the Rings?
I’m so happy for both of you. Wonderful!
Felicidades!!!
Son una monada. Te sigo, besos!
Loving your work Jorge!Let the fun begin. GIVEITAME!!!!!
Awwww, PUPPIES!!! I love them and I’m so glad you took them home!
Jorge I am so happy for you, and two dogs are awesome! I adopted an adult mother and son pair after their owner died last year and it was so wonderful to have a mini pack.
They are beautiful little dogs.
Pip and Smidge are both totally adorable. That Pip knew how to suck you guys in, didn’t she? Aw. I’m sure they’ll be very, very happy to share their lives with you both. If you ever need to communicate anything important to them, you can email me at anomalies0@yahoo.com and I will be happy to pass along the message or settle any problems. Yes, I can communicate with animals (using telepathy).
Janet
That’s awesome. I’m so happy for you both. Congratulations on both your new additions to the family!
Pip and Smidge are beautiful! And I love their names too:) I am sure Nunu would approve!
BEAMING over here for your new family. Smidge and Pip are so, so incredibly lucky to have you and Beth for parents!
I really look forward to seeing more pictures as they grow up!
Yea! Congratulations! It is so wonderful to hear you went through Petfinders and even better that you announced it to everyone!.. Getting these precious babies out of shelters and fosters is so important. You and Beth are great pet owners and setting an excellent example.
Adorable! God bless your furry family! 🙂
So happy for you and your new family members. Thank you for sharing the news.
There’s something about a guy with a small dog that just makes them seem like they must be big huggy bears no matter what they look like.
I knew a biker that had a teacup poodle. And he’d go out full biker regalia with that poodle and you just wanted to giggle.
Uh rambling. Yes they are quite cute.
I remember something that George Carlin the comedian once said during a show many years ago. He said that it’s a good thing that dogs don’t live very long…that way we can have more of them. I think George was right. When God shuts a door, he also opens a window.
hehehe Pip ???
I just read that the main character in Charles Dickens “Great Expectations” was called Pip in his childhood :))
His actual name was Philip Pirrip lol
You guys got inspired by that ?
OMD!!! Soooo cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute! They are just precious! I bet Nunu is smiling big-time.
Thank you so much for getting rescues. *swoon*
They are ADORABLE!!!! My husband’s 8 month old Coonhound ate the cushion to our new love seat on Saturday. I tried to tell him this wouldn’t have happened if he’d have let me get a little dog.
Having two dogs is the BOMB!!! Watching two dogs play is one of the greatest joys in life.
So cute it hurts!!!
I have two chihuahuas myself and so miss the tiny/baby stage. Congratulations on your new babies 😀
Congratulations and very best wishes. Pretty please always keep them on leashes and leashes in hand whenever you leave your property. Smidge looks very much like a 12 year old Chi in the NYC ACC this week (very sad little dog with a broken pelvis).
We truly wish you the best and long healthy lives to Pip and Smidge..
The puppies @ Cuddly Canines are so cute. Hopefully, a few more find good homes because you made people aware of them. Joy to you all
Pip is soooooo cute. Oh God.
Please make videos again. There’s been a chihuahua shaped void in my life since Nunu passed. Fill that void, Jorge.
Congratulations, they are adorable. I’ve had dogs all my life but the best of them were always the rescued ones. My little Silky Terrier Harley, still jumps in my lap and gives me kisses after each meal….he’s so sweet!!
All the best to you…
They’re SO adorable!!! Congratulations to the proud mama and papa!
Placentia?! That’s my neighbor city! These dogs are so stinkin’ cute! I know they will enjoy all the love they get from you and Beth.
Congratulations and thanks so much for adopting from a rescue organization. Your new doggies Pip and Smidge are adorable. …Lynne
I was so happy to hear about the adoption on petfinder’s facebook page. I read about the loss of your previous pet, so am now glad to hear you have adopted some new babies. I hope everything goes smoothly and you all have many years of happiness together!

Living with dearest company is best thing in our life.
Hey, my name is Molly and my friends all call me Smally, casue i’m short 😦
OMG Jorge they are ADORABLE!!!!! Congrats!
Yay for you! We are also owned by a Chihuahua. We’ve often thought about getting our Gus a puppy of his very own, but we travel a lot & can’t imagine flying to Mexico with 2 dogs. Enjoy all of their frollicking!!
So CUTE!!!! I can see how you couldn’t resist. They are adorable. And what a good mommy and daddy you and Beth are.

Congrats! they’ve found a good home.
Nunu is smiling on you. Congrats.

Hello Jorge, my name is Carolina, I’m a 15-year-old girl from Argentina and I’m very excited I found your wordpress.
I must admit that I didn’t believe you actually use this page but as I have seen, you post most of the days, so I decided to try and send you a message and although I’m using a school blog I couldn’t miss the oportunity of having contact with you!
By the way, I’m a big fan of LOST, I’ve been following you for 4 years and I’m so in love with the serie (and with Matthew Fox) that I’m watching it all over again. It’s just incredible. I really love it. One of the best things of lost, is your acting, plus Miles, Jin and Sawyer. I just roar with laughter everytime I see you guys playing a scene.
So, to sum up, I hope you answer me, only a few comments would make me very happy. And so my birthday is comming, in two weeks, so it would be a nice present 😉
Best wishes Jorge,
Carolina

How awesome! Cuties!
On a side note, I saw a car with the license plate “NUNU” on it and thought of you. If you want, I can send you a picture. I wanted to send it but I couldn’t find an email address or contact information for you, though. (Oh, and this was in HI, so it was a HI license plate!)
Congratulations on finding such cute puppies!
They’re just perfect!
We have a Pip too (maybe a Pom-Chi but not sure, short, dark and very handsome) and it’s amazing how many names you can come up with based on Pip, Pippy, Pip-star, the Pipster, Pippidy-do-dah, Piperonni and of course there’s always Pip-bull (my favorite).
Congrats to all of you!
That is HILARIOUS Marcia!! Definitely made me LOL!
He has his own Facebook page, just look for pippymc@live.com but be warned, he’s very picky about his friends!
Hooray for two cute new puppies! Rescue dogs are the best. So, my husband and I are a huge fan of your blog (and were huge fans of LOST), and this Saturday we had our Halloween party..and we played Werewolves of Miller’s Hollow because of your recommendation. It was SO fun. Thank you so much! I gave a nod to your recommendation on the blog, please stop by if you have a moment! We love you Jorge!

They are adorable, Congrats to the both of you!!

I think 2 cute little pups just hit the lottery with you and Beth as Mom and Dad! Congrats!
Utterly adorable. Much like Beth and yourself, I reckon. 🙂
They are absolutely adorable! How exciting. Don’t tell my kids though–they are always begging for a dog. 🙂
Congratulations to all four of you! They are darling members of your family. I think Nunu is happy that you could open your hearts again and love again. And yay for rescue dogs!
Jorge, it’s good to see you with those cute puppies! 🙂
Congratulations! They are gorgeous. How lucky you, and they, are!
Jorge,
Cute for sure. Pip or Small-e will leave a smidge or smudge around the house that is a certainty.
Oh My Lord … everyone here is SO lucky!!!
Congrats Jorge & Beth … and Smidge & Pip
Congratulations on your new furbabies, Jorge! They’re adorable! 🙂
You should put them on Dogster.com. 🙂
Aw, congratulations! I’m so happy for you. 🙂
Congratulations! I also adopted a new puppy last week. My beloved older dog died about the same time as Nunu and I’ve had mixed feelings about replacing her. Fortunately, my husband made me go to the shelter “just to look” and the rest is history. I just love my new girl and look forward to hearing all about Smidge and Pip.
They are precious!! Congratulations on your new furry kids; they will have such amazing parents. And I so admire you and Beth for rescuing them; it’s great to see shelter dogs find a loving home!
I keep peeking back in…hoping to see more pics of the pups. 🙂
Eddie??????????????????????? Come on… you must blog about this!
Congratulations on your new adoptions, and THANK YOU for rescuing. My husband & I are the proud — and insane — furr-parents of 15 cats (yes, 15), every one of which is a rescue. You and Beth have done a wonderful thing, and you honor Nunu’s memory by giving a loving home to these lucky little pups. May you have much love, joy, & tail-wagging for years to come! 🙂
Missing the pictures of your jack o laterns this year. Happy Halloween!
I can’t tell you how big a smile this post put on my face. You are too good. *tears*
~Congratulations~ And may they bring you Heaps of Love and Happiness (And not too much puppy poop on tha floor!)<3
Supreme congrats on your run as Eddie! I am sure you were amazing. Just read about it this morning. We were supposed to see Rocky this weekend in St. Louis & both shows were sold out. Let me just say I will NOT be winning mother of the year…..
I hope you had a great time performing. Hope Tim Curry was as cool as he seems.
Happy Halloweekend!!!!!!!!!!!!
K
Awesome!
Jorge–did you carve pumpkings this year? I’m waiting to see some pictures. Happy Halloween!
Awww!
Congratulations to you both!
That’s you and Beth — and really, congrats to the 2 pups who have just been adopted into the home of their dreams.
I’m so pleased for you!
Yay, Jorge and Beth! So excited for you guys 🙂
Outstanding! Both Smidge and Pip and the fact that you got them from a shelter.
You’re a good man Jorge!

BTW, ever thought of being a spokesperson for the HSUS?
Those are the most adorable puppies ever! I would have had a hard time leaving there without every single one. The names are cute and fit them perfectly, but I laughed at Smolly/Small-e.
Oh my goodness! So cute!!! Why do I read these things with pictures and end up crying with happiness? *tears* So happy for your both!
They are WAY TOO CUTE!!!!!! Congradulations and thank you for saving the babies!!!! God Bless!
Caro Jorge … Felicitaciones!!!!! Estoy muy contento de que usted tiene dos nuevos amigos en casa! Los cachorros son lindos! Les deseo mucha salud. ;)Besos y cariño de Brasil
We just adopted a little chi chi/wirehair terrier mix from Starpaws Rescue in Marina Del Rey. He’s like… one pound.
Yay! Glad you have new pups to enrich your life!
Kind of like Lays potato chips. Nobody can have just one.
