I returned to Monte Carlo for their annual Golden Nymph Television Festival.
The celeb sightings started at LAX for us as Ice-T was checking in right ahead of us. Really a cool guy and a fan of the show. He pulled his camera out so I pulled out mine.
The festival had a lot of the same press that I had met in my previous trips. Including Tero Paloniemi who confessed that back at home he’s known as the “Hurley of Finland.” Here we are this trip.
And here we were two years ago.

That’s pretty cool…you and Ice-T! But Tero, he’s not a Hurley, he’s not cute enough and can he really be as nice as our Jorge? LOL…I think maybe you did get a bit taller or maybe he shrunk…or it’s his hair…I don’t know…I’m almost 5’2 so everybody is taller to me 😉

Monte Carlo is incredible, isn’t it? I’m not a high roller but I enjoy people watching and it’s always full of some very watchable people.
And it looks like he shrunk and you lost some weight.

Jorge, I watched an interview of you from Montecarlo. Your description of the moment you were reading the script and you realized that you are (were?) the new protector of the island, was very touching.

I looked up the festival and it seems this is the 50th Anniversary of the Monte Carlo Television Festival where the best programs from around the world are awarded the Golden Nymph.

Great that you and Ice-T got to enjoy taking pics of each other and that the “Hurley of Finland” Tero Paloniemi and you got to meet again! Maybe you and Tero had on shoes with different thickness of shoes and Tero’s hairstyle change might have made a difference too… LOL! Thanks again!
