Shakes?!

20 Jun

That was Beth’s response to my last post.

No, the tuna and bologna is strictly for sandwiches. But I’m not going to knock it until…

No. I’m just going to knock it.

Maybe tuna OR bologna, but not both.

I ran a burger and fries through the blender once when I had my wisdom teeth out and was craving something – anything – besides Ensure.

It is precisely as disgusting and vile as you would think it is.

  3. I still can’t stop thinking of fluffernutters- made my entire childhood worth living.

  4. Dennis June 21, 2010 at 5:56 am #

    I’m with you, Jorge.

As for shakes, chocolate will do me just fine.

You were probably a fetus (or smaller!) when this was on SNL, but you’ve just reminded me of the Bass-o-Matic. Mmm, bass in a blender!

  14. casinoskunk June 21, 2010 at 8:54 am #

I have never had Fluffer Nutter, but i could always go for a peanut butter and banana shake.

  15. Irish Girl June 21, 2010 at 9:04 am #

Ewww…I’m with Beth. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.

You guys must try grilled peanut butter and sharp cheddar cheese sandwiches. With Fritos on the side. Perfection.

Jones Soda makes a set of Thanksgiving sodas. Turkey, green beans, stuffing (I think). We bought the set one year, several years ago and had a big family ‘I double dog dare you, and I’ll give you a dollar if you drink this’ day. Oh man, it was beyond gross. There are no words to describe that fateful day.

Heh. Those would make for some awful shakes.

  27. Nicole June 22, 2010 at 11:12 am #

I bet my fiance would try a bologna shake if there was such a thing *puke* Something like that would belong on Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern LOL I do recall one episode with him trying some sort of meat flavored ice cream in Japan, I think.

  28. Tadge June 22, 2010 at 11:49 am #

    Just gotta say yum!

  29. Irishcoda June 22, 2010 at 12:42 pm #

This is the first time I’ve had a chance to catch up and I’m so glad you are continuing to blog. I was so sorry about what happened to poor Nunu.

  30. Tena June 22, 2010 at 1:58 pm #

Oh yuck. That just sounds totally awful.

  31. Erin June 22, 2010 at 3:07 pm #

    Good plan.

That reminds me of the shakes my brother and cousin used to make, where they would just throw everything they could find in the kitchen in the blender and dare each other to drink it. Blech!

  32. riggledo June 22, 2010 at 3:34 pm #

Yeah, I’d have to knock it too. Somethings just don’t belong blended with ice cream! Yeesh!

  33. Heather June 22, 2010 at 10:20 pm #

I love Tuna so much I had it for lunch every day for a month. But in a shake…I don’t think so! Bologna is just bologna no matter what. Eww.

  34. Tiffany Noélli June 23, 2010 at 6:58 pm #

For you, Jorge! A Brazilian music I love … The video clip is cute too! Kiss😉
