Hmm What’s More Embarrassing?

25 May

Or that it took eight months to notice?

LOL, just be glad that it was you who noticed and not someone else.

Im embarrased to say I had to look twice to notice what you were talking about, lol
(in my defense, it’s a bit later here and my brain is ready for sleep!) 😉

I would say the noticing later is worse. Hey, we have all written something in a rush/when out of it, can’t get everything wright all the time 🙂

That’s…pretty bad, actually. I have no words of comfort or succor for you. Sorry.

Actually, I love funny inscriptions on bottles with food! 🙂
I once copied the Swedish recipe for couscous (none of us speaks Swedish) from the original package onto the bottle containing the stuff. I’d have loved to find a bottle saying “Whole Wheat Flower”, really. No reason to be reasonable when describing your own food. 😀

They’res know shaame in you’re spellings!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! Just kidding!!! That’s funny!!! Sometimes we just write what first pops in our head!!! Don’t sweat it!!

  10. In my family they usually just point to me and say “hire the handicapped we’re fun to watch”.

Wheat is a grass, which is planted. Flowers are planted. So wheat and flowers are the same. Not only that, wheat and flowers weigh the same as a duck. So wheat and flowers are actually witches.

Jeff, you rock! That’s my kind of logic.

It may be because it’s early for me, but it took me a minute to realize it was spelled wrong. Blonde moment and brain fart for the both of us! I’d say that it took you 8 months to notice is a little more embarrassing. 🙂

My vote is for taking eight months to notice… but then, I’m old and its expected. However, you’re young and… well… ah, what can I say? Maybe its time to see the optometrist.

  20. Heidi May 26, 2011 at 1:10 pm #

lol! I just hope you left it like that.

It’s only because of gardening —

And, those other pretty flours you planted should bloom any day now !!

  22. Waterland May 26, 2011 at 7:17 pm #

    Maybe it’s the beginning of a Haiku…

  26. GIna May 27, 2011 at 6:00 am #

Are you kidding? It’s great that you even do these things! and we admire you for your efforts-there’s not many men out there that would ever notice! Keep up the awesome baking, and show us some more of those breads you bake. Inspires me to roll up my sleeves.

I say potato you say potatoe (or something to that effect). A flower is just a flour by any other name, or is that rose (not Bernards rose).

  28. eB May 27, 2011 at 5:25 pm #

Aw, it’s not that bad. 😉

  29. Kathyann May 27, 2011 at 9:37 pm #

    LoL Tsk, tsk!

  30. Tammie May 28, 2011 at 10:40 pm #

I say writing it is more of an embarrassment. You knew what was in there. Why would you read it? It was only on there in case you forgot, or if someone else needed to know.

  31. Charli May 29, 2011 at 10:54 am #

He can call me Flower if he wants too

  32. Lisa June 20, 2011 at 10:18 am #

Hi Jorge….I thought of you when I read this recipe today! Someone else spells it “flower”..I think it’s sort of sweet!
