Costume Parade

30 Oct

This year Pip went as an ear of corn.

And always topical Smidge went as the skunk we found in our garbage.

For about five minutes. Hating everyone of them.

An “ear of corn”? Obviously the proper term is “corn dog”.

That is the cutest video EVER. She is so totally pissed off at you. Hysterical!!!!!
    They both look so adorable.🙂

I love the skunk costume. Last year I put a glow stick around my cat’s neck and called her a UFO.

I love how Smidge is trying so hard to maintain her dignity and pride in the face of such persecution. Pip’s just like “TREAT!” lol

Poor pups. That was just pitiful. Love your dogs! Also, well done on the pumpkin contest. With a 5 year old, ours our a little less regal🙂

  13. Crystal October 31, 2011 at 7:36 am #

    Corn dog. Heh. Love it!

  14. Nicole October 31, 2011 at 7:38 am #

I love the way Smidge is like: I…will…not…move.
LOL! She is so pissed and stripped of her dignity. Love it! Doesn’t she realize how adorable she looks. If only she knew.

haha! Poor little stinker. Mine won’t let me even put a sweater on him, much less a humiliating costume. The corn looked kind of into it though!

  16. Oliverde October 31, 2011 at 10:36 am #

Oh no you didn’t! That looks too undignified.😉

Dogs put up with so much.

EL OH EL OMG, that video. I was crying with laughter. My favourite is when the happy ear of corn bursts in from stage left. What is it about dressing up animals that never fails to entertain? I wanted sooo badly to turn my little orange cat into Puss in Boots this year (with a little hat and cape, I don’t think I’m so cruel as to put boots on him! haha) but budget stood in my way. (“Whew!” says my cat). Next year, kitten!

LOVE IT !!! No dog has ever stood SO still !!!

We have black cats…so we are always ready for Halloween —

If I answer the door while holding one, people will actually back away — LOL !!!

    HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!

I’m sure that dogs that get dressed up wish for a special place in hell for their masters to go to after being dressed up

  22. pamelalovescharlie November 1, 2011 at 6:30 am #

LOL…LOL…LOL…Smidge’s expression is EXACTLY the face Charlie makes when I try to get him to wear something. He won’t walk…just makes that face, tips over and rips on the outfit to get it off. I gave up….he shivers when it’s cold but will he wear a sweater or jacket??? Nooooo….must be a chihuahua thing😀 Those two pups are adorable!!!

Very, very funny. My sister used to put costumes on her cats. They all hated it, but one of them would just freeze, sort of like Smidge, but then would tip over and just lay on his side. Would not move at all. Like it was some magical paralyzing garment… or something. 🙂

    Jorge,

The skunk costume is fantastic – Kudos to you for thinking of it.

Hahaha! “Do you hate it?” Too funny. Poor Smidge! 🙂

I must admit that I’ve watched that video over and over. Love that she is not moving a muscle. Like if she doesn’t move it didn’t happen. I love laughing like that. Good medicine.

My 2 month old was also an ear of corn. We thought he was the only corn cob out there.
