I am happy to live in a place that never freezes that hard! It still looks beautiful in your backyard. Do your babies have little boots to keep their feet warm when they go outside? (Brrrrrrr!)
very cute but if you don’t take that birdbath down and flip it upside down on the top it will crack and be ruined by spring. Or put the top in the barn or something. The cement will split and crack with the ice in it. Have fun in the cold this winter !
better cover it up before it cracks~~~ I use an old plant saucer in the winter here in WNY. I’m such a geek. Every day I go out with warm water and crack the old ice out and fill it. They all wait for me so it’s worth it! 🙂
YESsss! It’s so important to do what you must to keep some fresh water out for the critters all year… and be diligent because they do count on you and the water source once the word gets out 🙂
Enjoy your winter wonderland!
Dude, you need a birdbath heater! I set mine up the other day before the first freeze. They’re reasonably priced these days. Gotta take care of the yardlife.

LOL! That picture is too funny.
Looks like it’s time to send out the zamboni.
…frozen, but it looks so green! It’s frozen here in Minnesota…but mostly brown (and a bit of white).

me gustan los paisages congelados, pero este sitio es un poco estrecho para poder patinar eh hahaha, besos!!
It took me SO long to figure out what was happening in that photo.

Lol very funny but also slightly disappointing, I saw the title and was expecting to see a picture of ice skating birds 🙂

Where did you get those adorable finger skates?!? I want a pair! Please don’t tell me it was photoshopped, I really want to believe in finger skates…

Just in case you ever deamed of being on a lunch box.
Hmm.. last post was Busy Busy Busy. How long did it take to Photoshop that?
Jorge,
For shame! Where is the center faceoff circle. You are obviiously not in Canada with that serious oversight! 😛
It’s time to get a deicer for those winter birds!
I’m intrigued by the pink tree and the brown mushrooms in the background.
oh I love this picture so much!
please don’t tell us how it was done — I want to believe it like those fairy photos from the turn of the century.
I’m wishing there was some snow to go with this cold — but haven’t the days just been stunning?
If we see the puppies on skates next I’m going to have to knight you as an honorary snowbird.
I swear! I thought it was an elf in this picture hahahahaha 🙂
