Because you asked J.L.

13 Apr

This is how we left Nunu’s grave when we visited her a week ago.

I describe how to find it here: https://furtherdispatches.wordpress.com/2010/09/09/visiting-nunu/

So if you go looking for her, those flowers may be dead or gone but that Hot Dog should still be there so if you keep an eye out for it you may find it pretty easily.

You can also visit her “brick” at the Humane Society.

If you walk down the steps to the dog park and make a hard right you should be able to find it.

But if you’d just like to visit a spot she liked.

She loved running around the park in Lanikai.
Thanks for visiting.

I love that picture of her running! You can see how full of excitement and joy she was by the way she is fully airborne in mid stride!

Nunu looks like sheis bouncing along so happily. What a sweetie she was. I am so sorry for your loss and the ache that remains in your hearts.

that picture of little Nunu flying across the big field of grass is the best picture ever.

Ok, you just made me cry~~~~again. Seeing her running through the grass.

I’m sorry, I don’t mean to seem intrusive either, or assuming. I have followed your blog, and your My Space before that when she was just a baby. I know it was first because of Lost and everybody loves Hugo, but then it was you. Your love for her, who you are, who you and Beth are together.

So I feel kinda like a surrogate Aunt of sorts. We just love you, and we loved/love her, Nunu. Bless her heart.😦

All dogs go to Heaven because it wouldn’t be Heaven without them. Or cats…or horses…or ferrets…or parakeets…etc.

We have that hotdog toy also! Now everytime we tell the dogs to “go get the hotdog” they just think that means go get whatever toy you can find. Lol.

You may have answered before, Jorge, but what does Givitahmeh mean? The flowers on Nunu’s grave are lovely and the “brick” is wonderful. Seeing her literally flying across that field and the look of happiness on her little face is priceless. Thank you for sharing your lives with us, Beth, Jorge, Nunu, Pip and Smidge!

Givitahmeh – read it slowly – Give it to me – said by dog owners around the world many times a day!

So sweet and still so sad. I’m still missing my “Bailey dog” after 4 yrs. Maybe Nunu and Bailey are out running in a field together. God I love my pets!

Nunu…sweet furbaby, beautiful girl! If you could take a photograph of heaven, it would look like her joy at the park. I have no doubt that she is there now.

Thank you for sharing your pics, Jorge!

    Hi Jorge and Beth,

Sweet little Nunu. It’ll be two years for us on April 25th that we lost our little dog too. But they are waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge. Bless you. Hugs and kisses to Nunu.

What a sweet little angel. It’s coming up to four years since I lost one of my cats. Still think about her every day and miss her.

Little Nunu left you a gift: a piece of your heart will always be on that island, with all the memories that are in it. Little precious secrets of this magical creatures

Oh Jorge!!
