Hung out in a prop house yesterday.
It was pretty cool.
And sometimes creepy.
Like a museum where you can touch the stuff.
It was a great example of how anytime you see a whole bunch of the same thing it’s automatically interesting.
Like these briefcases.
Or these wooden buckets.
Oh and they had an s-ton of taxidermy.
Some of it just laying around in shelves.
Yes that’s a full horse.
I have no closer for this. Other than a cannon, swords and the coolest hat ever.
Nice Axe! And who can’t use a coyote?
Imagine having to inventory all this stuff!! Looks like a fun place to hang out 🙂
Those puppets are freaky-creepy. Really enjoy you sharing with us. Thank you. Take care and peace.
AAAAAH you brought me back to the years I worked at Boss Films for Richard Edlund. I got to sit on the Stay puff Marshmallow Man’s head and danced with skeletons from Poltergeist *1*. I was there when they shot Aliens 3, Batman 2, and a bunch of other really cool things. I missed Universal Soldier by a couple of months, (and I’m a Dolf fan.) I always wonder if that stuff ended up on ebay. One of my best buddies did sculpture work for red october, and she’s up in San Francisco area doing more fx stuff. I miss it, but I hated the drive to LA!! Man I wish I could have showed you HIS toy box! Edlund won an Academy Award for Star Wars.
LOVE it. you made me SMILE today. MISS YA…………… love the squirrel…..giggle.
Loved the hat.
Wow you really had fun. Very cool!
Awesome. I can only imagine how you ran around that place!
it looks like a lot of fun.
Reminds me of my basement storage when I ran props for my middle school drama club. Same stuff, only low budget!
Great fun. Stuffed dead animals always creep me out, but it fascinates me, too.
Did it smell? I bet with all those old stuffed critters it smells. Ick.
But I would love to shop there for Halloween!
Looks like a fun room to explore. I use to have a puppet like one of those that are shown.
All those briefcases must have been from the Fringe series!
I absolutely loved the video, too! Magnolia Memoir is (are?) terrific!
